Cysts and tumours are seen as swellings in the mouth or anywhere on the face and neck. They are fluid or pus filled or tissue filled swellings which arise due to some developmental abnormality or due to infection from a tooth.
They should be treated before they grow to a large size and cause destruction of other areas. These conditions require minor or major surgery for removal, sometimes under general anesthesia.
